芝生が緑に変わり、待ちに待ったアプリコットの花が咲きだしました。

今週3/8は女性の日でキルギスでは男性から女性にプレゼントやお花を渡すのが習慣のようです。春の始まりを感じますねー。

みなさん、こんにちは！キルギスは冬真っ盛りでとても寒いです。寒さが嫌いな私はずっと部屋に引きこもっていたい気持ちでいっぱいです。
しかし、今回はそんな気持ちを吹き飛ばすような魅力的な場所を紹介します！
OVOPショップがあるカラコルはスキー場などもあり、冬はスノーアトラクションが楽しめます。
今回、私は冬のホースライディング(乗馬)に初挑戦しました ！
大人しくてよく言うことを聞いてくれる馬さん＾＾
今までに見たこともないような幻想的な景色を見ることができて、まるで夢の中にいるようでした。
ホースライディングが終わった後に、町の中心部にあるOVOPカラコルショップに行ってお土産を買うのもいいですね。あったかいコーヒーも飲むことができますよ。
冬のキルギスは寒いですが、今までに経験したことがない体験ができて、悪くないかなと思う今日この頃です。

Hello everyone! Winter in Kyrgyzstan is so cold and as I hate cold weather, want to stay in my room all day long.
BUT today I’d like to introduce you a wonderful place in Karakol Kyrgyzstan to wipe out my lazy mind 🙂
As you know (maybe), the OVOP shop is located in Karakol and the city is one of Kyrgyzstan’s major tourist destinations, serving the excellent hiking, trekking, skiing and mountaineering.
Recently I tried winter horse riding for the first time.
Cute and gentle houses.
Seriously I’ve never seen such a magical and fantastic scenery before. You feel like in a dream and cannot think anything. I recommend you to try it once in a life!
After riding, it would be good idea to go to OVOP shop in the Karakol city centre and to buy some souvenir for your family and friends. you can also drink hot coffee in the shop.
Yes, winter in Kyrgyzstan is freezing, but you can have great experiences you have never done before. Obviously it’s not bad 🙂

あー寒い、寒い！ キルギスは本格的な冬が到来しました。
最高気温が０度を超えない日もしばしば…。
そんな極寒のキルギスからシャカル石鹸のご紹介❤ 
なんとこれは、キルギスに昔から伝わる伝説の石鹸なんです。
昔のキルギス人は親戚や、近所の人と一緒にこのシャカル石鹸を作っていました。
しかし、ソ連時代になると工場で生産された安価な石鹸に押され、いつのまにか作る人はいなくなってしまいました。
しかし、このシャカル石鹸を復活させた人たちがいます。
首都ビシュケクから７時間ほどいくと、タスマ村という村があり、そこでナチュラル石鹸、美容クリームを作っている「ブグエネ」という生産団体があります。
「ブグエネ」の女性たちは「シャカル石鹸というこんな大事なキルギスの文化を失ってはいけない。」と考え、シャカル石鹸の作り方を知る高齢の女性に話を聞き、試行錯誤の上、完成させました。 シャカル石鹸とは、ヤギや牛の脂と、キルギス語でエルメンとアラワタと言われる薬草を燃やして作った灰を混ぜて作った石鹸です。
この石鹸は作るのがとっても大変！材料となる灰を作るために、何トンもの薬草を集め、燃やし、その灰を１日かけて大鍋で煮出します。
でも、このシャカル石鹸、アレルギーや湿疹によく効くとキルギス人には大変評判！！

Winter has come in Kyrgyzstan.
Sometimes the temperature is below 0℃.
Today, I introduce “shaker soap” from freezing Kyrgyzstan.
What is shaker soap?
You probably haven’t heard of it.
It’s a traditional soap that Kyrgyz people have been used from a long time ago.
Kyrgyz people used to make shakar soap by themselves with relatives and neighbors.
In the Soviet era, however, people had stopped making shaker soap because cheap soaps produced in factories had chased the traditional soap out.
Thus, the recipe of shakar soap was once lost, but recently a group of women have successfully recovered it.
7-hour driving from Bishkek, there is Tasma village, where a group “Bugu Ene” is making natural soaps and skin-care creams.
“Bugu Ene” thought that they shouldn’t lose such an excellent Kyrgyz culture.
They asked an old woman who remembers the receipt of shakar soap, and finally succeeded to make it after several attempts.
Shakar soap is made of goat fat or cow fat and ash made by burning herbs called “ Ermen” and “Arawata” in Kyrgyz.
It is so hard to make this soap! To make shaker soap, it is needed to gather tons of herbs, burn them to make ash, and then boil the ash in a large pan during a whole day!
Shakar soap is very popular among Kyrgyz people, being said it is effective for allergy and eczema.
Why don’t you try the traditional Kyrgyz soap?

今日は日本語から書きます。なんだかそんな気分。
さて、今回はOVOPイシククルの本拠地であるカラコルの町を紹介します。
このサイトのカラコルのページにも書いてありますが、カラコルは山と湖がすぐそばにある、とっても自然豊かな町。その上、キルギスでは５本の指に入る大きな町ですので、自然融合型都市とでも言えると思います。
カラコルでは春夏秋冬の楽しみ方があります。
春は杏のお花見やお花畑散策
夏はトレッキング(アラコル湖は圧巻です！）、プリスタンなどの近場の村での湖水浴
秋は、うーん、なかった…汗。すぐに冬になるもので。
冬はウィンタースポーツ！
特に夏場は、世界中から訪れる多くのトレッキング客でにぎわいます。
そのため私たちのお店も大盛況！品薄になっている現状です（すみません…）

Especially in summer, there are full of tourists from all over the world in Karakol.

The super food” Sea buckthron”‘s new item came to our shop recently!
As other volunteer Sayaka wrote about cream of this beauty enhancement fruit before in this blog, some of my friends asked me that whether it is really effective or not, and I can say that…
“It is really effective for my skin♥”

Hi!This is Kayo(Kanushai- Kyrgyz name).
Today, I will introduce the village where is famous for making Boz ui(yurt).
First of all, I should explain what is Boz ui.
Boz ui is the tent for Nomad. Nomad moved place to place with this tent from the old days and it is still used in the mountain area of Kyrgyzstan. You can see Boz ui in the grazing land in all parts of Kyrgyzstan. It is called Yurt in Russian.
The Boz ui is symbol of Kyrgyz and it is in the design of national flag.
Then let me talk about Boz Ui village.
Every Boz ui is hand made and 80% of them are made in Kuzul tuu village.
This village is located in the south shore of Issyk-Kul and surrounded mountains and breath taking nature.
I visited one of the Boz ui maker’s house this weekend.
His name is Mr. Ruslan. His family is consisted of 5member; 4 children, wife and his mother.He is artist himself and his wife is as well.
Since they have live stocks and wheat fields,they are really busy all the time. But, Mr. Ruslan try to find time to make Boz ui, and make one Boz ui within about a month!
His works are particular about the details and really impressed!

ボズウイ作りの村に行ってきました。
ボズウイとは遊牧民の移動式住宅のこと。現在でも、キルギスの全ての地域において夏の放牧地で見る事ができます。ロシア語ではユルタとも言われています。
ボズウイは、その天窓がキルギスの国旗の中央に描かれているほど、キルギスの人のシンボルであり、誇りとなっています。
そんなボズウイを作っているクズルトゥーという村に遊びに行ってきました。
イシククルの南岸に位置し、自然にかこまれたとてものどかな村ですが、その村人のほとんどがボズウイ作りで生計を立てており、８０％ほどのボズウイがこの村で作られているそうです。
今回、お邪魔したルスランさんのおうちは、４人の子どもと奥さんとお母様がいる中くらいの家族。ルスランさんと奥様は芸術家でもあり、とってもにぎやかで、心温まる家族です。
ルスランさんは、ボズウイ作りの傍ら、家畜の世話や小麦畑の手入れなど、毎日大忙し。時間を見つけて、１ヶ月に１つのボズウイを作り上げます。それにもかかわらず、彼の手仕事はとても丁寧で驚くほど。
イシククル南岸に行かれる際には、是非ともクズルトゥー村にお立寄ください。
なお、ルスランさんのおうちはゲストハウスとしても利用できます。

I would like to introduce Kyrgyzstan’s natural cosmetics, “Apricot cream” and “sea buckthorn cream”.
Tasma/タスマ村
These creams are made in Tasma village located at the east of the Lake Issyk- Kul and have the rich natural resources.
Sea buckthorn and apricots are very common fruits here in Kyrgyzstan.Kyrgyz people eat them raw or making jam.They are suitable not only for edibles but also for skin care.
Sea buckthorns are effective for anti-aging skin care because of their antioxidant effect and rich vitamin.
Apricots are also rich in vitamin A , E, and they keep skin from drying out.
These creams are made from sea buckthorn or apricots oil, mixed with olive oil and beeswax.
Both of them moisturize skins very well.
You can use them on your face or hands, or on your lips instead of lip cream that you usually use.
I like to apply it mixed with NIVEA cream to my body after taking a bath.

これらは、イシククル湖の東に位置する自然豊かなタスマ村で作られています。
キルギス国内でよく見かける、シーバクソンとアプリコット。キルギス人はこれらをそのまま食べたり、ジャムにして食しています。また、これらは高い美容効果が期待できます。
シーバクソンはビタミン豊富、抗酸化作用があることで日本でもスーパーフードとして知られています。アプリコットもビタミンA、Eを豊富に含み、乾燥を防ぐ働きがあると言われています。。シーバクソンのオイルとアプリコットのオイル、それぞれにオリーブオイルや蜜ろうを加えて作った保湿効果の高いクリームです。
